BMW Repair in Ormond Beach
A BMW is built to be driven — and it's opinionated about how it's maintained. When a warning appears on the dash, it's telling you *something* is off; it's not telling you *what to do about it*. That second part is our job.
Why BMW owners choose Lonnie's
Testing before conclusions.
A dash warning or a stored code is a starting point, not a diagnosis. We test, document what we find with photos, and give you a plain-English answer before anything is sold.
OEM or OE-quality parts only.
We don't install bargain-line parts. You'll know exactly which part is going on your car and why.
Maintenance on the record.
Every service we perform is documented — the record that matters for factory-warranty coverage and for the next owner.
Your vehicle health report — like a checkup from your doctor
Every vehicle that comes through our shop gets a digital vehicle health report, every visit. Photos of what we found, plain-English notes on what they mean, and each item labeled honestly: what needs attention now, what can wait, and what's just worth watching. You review it right on your phone.
You approve the work — and every dollar — before it begins, and nothing gets added without your authorization.

FAQ
Do I lose my factory warranty by not going to the dealer?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer generally cannot void your new-car warranty simply because maintenance or repairs were performed by an independent shop, and generally cannot require dealer service or brand-name parts as a condition of coverage unless it provides them free (FTC warranty guidance). What matters is that scheduled services are done on time, to spec, and documented — we record every service performed. (Coverage of a specific failure can generally only be denied if the manufacturer shows the outside work or part actually caused that failure.)
A warning light came on but the car drives fine. Do I need to come in?
Driving fine and being fine aren't the same thing — but we won't guess at which one your car is. Call us, describe the light, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's drive-in-today, book-this-week, or keep-an-eye-on-it.
What will it cost?
We don't quote repairs sight-unseen — a number given before anyone has inspected the car is a guess. Your vehicle health report gives you an exact, itemized picture, and you approve every dollar before work begins.
Can I wait, or should I drop off?
Either. We have a waiting area, drop-off with a key drop, and a local shuttle. You can approve work by text and pay by text. Vehicle pickup and delivery may be available by advance arrangement — ask your advisor.
