Convertible Top Repair in Ormond Beach, FL
Systems, not upholstery.
Top won't go up. Won't go down. Stops halfway and sits there. Hydraulic fluid where it shouldn't be, a motor not responding, a sensor fault the car won't explain. That's shop work — the pumps, motors, mechanisms, sensors and wiring that move the top — and we do it.
The boundary, stated plainly
We repair the system: hydraulics, motors, latches and mechanisms, position sensors, and the wiring and modules that control them. We don't do fabric, headliners, or upholstery. If your top's material is torn but the mechanism works, we'll tell you that straight — that job belongs at a trim shop, and pretending otherwise would waste your money.
How convertible-top problems get solved here
Testing before conclusions.
A top that stops halfway can be hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical — the symptom alone doesn't say which. We test to find out, rather than guessing with your money.
OEM or OE-quality parts only.
We don't install bargain-line parts. You'll know exactly which part is going on your car and why.
You see what we found.
Photos and plain-English findings in your vehicle health report, labeled honestly: needs attention now, can wait, or worth watching.
Your vehicle health report — like a checkup from your doctor
Every vehicle that comes through our shop gets a digital vehicle health report, every visit. Photos of what we found, plain-English notes on what they mean, and each item labeled honestly: what needs attention now, what can wait, and what's just worth watching. You review it right on your phone.
You approve the work — and every dollar — before it begins, and nothing gets added without your authorization.
Our warranty
We offer a written 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Ask us for complete coverage terms.

FAQ
My top stopped halfway — is that the motor?
Not necessarily. Half-travel stops are commonly hydraulic pressure, a position sensor, or an obstruction the system is protecting itself from — and sometimes the motor. Testing tells us which, and then the answer comes with evidence instead of a guess.
The fabric is torn but the top works fine. Can you fix it?
No — and we'll say so rather than take the job. Fabric and upholstery work belongs at a trim shop. If the mechanism underneath is also misbehaving, that part is ours.
What will it cost?
We don't quote repairs sight-unseen — a number given before anyone has inspected the car is a guess. Your vehicle health report gives you an exact, itemized picture, and you approve every dollar before work begins.
Can I wait, or should I drop off?
Either. We have a waiting area, drop-off with a key drop, and a local shuttle. You can approve work by text and pay by text. Vehicle pickup and delivery may be available by advance arrangement — ask your advisor.
